Veteran’s Day

Let us remember the men and women who fought and died for America. Today, I remember my grandfather who fought on the beaches of Normandy and the grandfather who never came home after “advising” the French in Vietnam. The uncle in an unmarked grave somewhere in Germany, the cousin who died helping people escape the fall of Saigon, the friends who still suffer the effects of spent uranium in the first Gulf War, and the thousands of boys and girls who even now have been ordered to lay down their lives for a bunch of chickenhawks in DC.

War seems to be an unavoidable evil…let us remember the faces of war…young, frightened, under fire…Americans. Gods bless and protect them all.
