    i would be surprised if you didn’t have a dremel, so what about one of those drill and cut bits for tearing into a craft pumpkin? they work pretty well for opening up dried gourds, so the foam should be cake.

    You know, my dremel disappeared a while ago, and I never got around to replacing it. I really should. But for the craft pumpkin, I think that would leave the cut edges too “shreddy”, ya know? The hot exacto knife was genius for it.
