Let us bow our heads

And say goodbye to Albert Hoffman, the inventor/discoverer of LSD, who has died at the age of 102. Wiki. The Albert Hofmann Foundation. Erowid entry on LSD. Hofmann’s often-cited essay, “LSD, My Problem Child.” A conversation with Dr. Hoffman.

I wouldn’t be who I am today without the experiences I had because of his experiments. Tangerine skies and the breaking of conventional thought patterns, breathing walls and the knowledge that we are all one, experiencing each other (to paraphrase Bill). Harmony and light, discord and darkness…it’s all about which path you choose. Some of the most mission critical things I ever learned about myself came about because of LSD.

Also, watching the clouds turn into kaleidoscopes was great fun.

Onwards and upwards Uncle Albert, onwards and upwards.
